The Ministry of Science and Technology subsidizes domestic graduate students to attend international conferences as follows:
1. Round-trip air ticket fee: the round-trip economy-class air ticket with the most direct path to the destination will be paid accordingly.
2. Conference registration fee (does not include other incidental expenses, such as proceedings, annual membership fees, meals, etc.)
3. Graduate students who need to be accompanied by an accompanying caregiver to attend an international academic conference due to severe physical or mental disability will receive a subsidy for a round-trip economy-class air ticket for an accompanying caregiver upon approval by the MOST.
It does not include the 14-day quarantine fee for returning to the country and other expenses for the subsidy program.
If the implementation content of the subsidy program changes the meeting time, meeting location, meeting participation method (for example: changed to virtual meeting), method of paper publication etc., students are requested to apply online and be reviewed by the school. After that, the online compilation should be sent to the MOST at least one day before the meeting date, and the MOST will review it accordingly. Overdue will not be accepted. All applicants are requested to pay special attention.
