Call for Papers: 2026 Teacher and Student Joint Academic Research Symposium

I.     Conference Objectives
To promote localized internationalization in higher education and encourage faculty and students to actively engage in academic research, our university is organizing the “2026 Teacher and Student Joint Academic Research Symposium.”
This conference aims to provide a platform for academic exchange, encouraging faculty and students to share their fruitful research findings in an accessible manner, thereby fostering knowledge dissemination and academic dialogue. We particularly encourage research that integrates the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), hoping to collectively advance the practice of sustainable development through academic endeavors.

II.   Eligibility and Important Dates
  1.     Participants: All faculty, students, and postdoctoral researchers from our university’s one university and three hospitals.
  2.     Online Registration System: https://rd2sys.tmu.edu.tw:8011/TSUAS/login.aspx.
  3.     Registration Deadline: April 11, 2026 (Please ensure registration is completed by this date).
  4.     Physical Poster Exhibition Period: May 13-15, 2026.
  5.     Q&A Session: May 13, 2026.

III. Poster Submission Guidelines
All submitted posters must comply with the following regulations. Please refer to the attached format template (Attachment 1):
  1.     Language: Content can be in Chinese or English.
  2.     Core Content: Poster content must include the following structure:
  u    Title
  u    Authors: Please note the author symbols. The first author (i.e., student) should be marked with #; the corresponding author (i.e., supervisor) should be marked with *.
  u    Introduction
  u    Methods
  u    Results
  u    Discussion & Conclusion
  3.     Special Themes:
  (1) Animal Alternative Technologies: If your research involves animal alternative technologies, please elaborate on relevant content in a dedicated section. These technologies integrate diverse methods such as stem cells, 3D printing, tissue engineering, microfluidic chips, and artificial intelligence. Their core objective is to implement the 3R principles for traditional in vivo animal experiments: Reduction, Refinement, and Replacement.
  (2) Sustainability Relevance (Mandatory): Please clearly explain the relevance of your research to sustainable development and select at least one United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) number.
  4.     Poster Format:
  (1) File Type: PDF file.
  (2) Page Limit: Limited to one page.
  (3) Dimensions: Please use dimensions of 90 cm x 120 cm.
  (4) Please refer to Attachment 1 to Attachment 4.

IV.  Selection Criteria and Awards
  1.     Selection Method: The poster oral presentation competition will be reviewed by a committee of experts invited by the Office of Research and Development.
  2.     Awards: Awards will be given to outstanding entries in each category as encouragement.
